Congrats, I had the butt****ing moron rankings reserved for people who believed Neil Peart was a better drummer than Danny Carey, but your dumbassery deserves a trophy too.

Neil's lyrics are great so I am a BFM for saying that Overall NP's lyric writing and drumming is way better. 2112, Hemispheres! I saw RUSH when Pat Travers toured with RUSH back on the Hemispheres tour. I still have the red vinyl hemispheres album. I think your thread is BF-ing stupid.

I too am a Neil Peart fan and he will be the first to tell you Joe Morello of Dave Brubeck and Buddy Rich are at a level all by themselves. He will also tell you jazz drumming is a heckuva a lot more challenging than rock by far. Here is Joe and Buddy below. And you will see why. Both of these guys stick control, accents and quickness were just amazing. Bonham took a page from Morello playing the drums with his hands and Morello in this vid actually does a one stick solo for a while. Buddy's cymbal solo was every bit as good as his drum solo.

Yes, Danny is objectively better than Neil, but it’s not really a fair comparison. Different generations. Now that being said, as good as Danny is, there are better drummers currently.

John Bonham was better than both of them.
