Parkins had the best show on 610. Now Carrington.who was the third most talented between Parkins and Heisler, has the afternoon show while the other two have moved on to better things.

The guy has a jolly voice and persona, but his views and takes are just horrible. I've always hated him on the radio, ever since he was on the night shift. And it's not politics. I'm sure him, Parkins, and Carrington have similar views....yet I like Carrington and even Danny Parkings waaaay more. They are just much better at their jobs.

Anyone hear Petro on Paul Finebaum's show yesterday? Finebaum and the Alabama fans were upset that Petro doesn't have Bama at #1 with his AP poll vote and has Clemson instead.

I thought Petro handed it to him pretty good.

I have always thought that Petro comes across as a conceited ass. It is one thing to be really knowledgable about something. It is another to think that there is no other correct opinion than your own.

Yeah, I tried to listen to the show when they had Terez Paylor do a live show last night, and I made ot 45 seconds. The guy could probably be talented, but he is directionless and does seem to be controversial fornthe sake of being so. They are definitely wasting Josh Vernier. He was incredibly good with the Royals shows.

Jay Binkley doing the Royals is a dumpster fire. I think 610 thinks Josh Vernier doing a 110 loss team is a disservice to him.

The most annoying part of the show is listening to Ron's lap dog Serta(sp?). He is literally cackling in the back ground the whole time Ron talks. Ron is a ****ing reerun too, but Serta is such a beta puss.

Why has sports talk radio in KC been terrible for 20 years?

It sucks, I like hearing Binkley talk about the Chiefs. He's by far the most enthusiastic football radio guy, and he could not freaking wait for Mahomes and Hill to play together. 2 months before this happens, they make him cover the Royals. :cuss:

I've heard better college shows than Ron and Vern...it's unlistenable, and the only reason it's on is because they work cheap and the product sounds like it. Bob is just as bad, but for different reason...mostly he thinks he's a lot better than he actually is. He's a sidekick at best. 610 is just a clown show in general.

I don't know that it has - there have been some pretty good ones. DA, Nick Wright and Parkins are all legit radio talents, whether you agree with them or not.

I do not care for angry sports guy. It is just sports & you are supposed to be a pro. I turn off Petro when he starts one of his rants.
