Increases libido for sure, like most other stimulants. It's, literally, amphetamine.

You should have your T levels tested.

I had that checked 3-4 years ago, it was really low. They gave me something (I cant remember) but you rubbed it on your shoulders. Very expensive and did not seem to have any effect.

Depends on the person. My buddy loves having sex while cracked out on it, or on coke.

Me ...I just can't do it...can't perform worth a shit while on it.

Marijuana on the other hand...turns me into a sexual tyrannosaur.

Fortesta/Androgel?

My buddy's dad is on that, says it works like a charm. Depends on the person I guess.

I tried XR for almost 1 month and holy shit was it insane. My heart rate jumped from the high 60’s to high 90’s, I wasn’t hungry, and I noticed I was far more irritable.

I’m not sure how I feel about taking it. I mean that has to be terrible for you long term right?

I’m more interested in taking a non-stimulant like Strattera.

Did you talk to the doctor about adjusting your dosage?

I'm not saying that you need to get back on it, but that really isn't the "normal" experience of a person with a proper dosage (well, not the super high heart rate and irritability at least. Loss of appetite is common).

Of course, it also affects people who actually NEED it (clinical ADHD) differently than people who are just taking it to try to increase performance. That's why a lot of people who have ADHD dislike taking it, because it evens them out and often makes them feel calm/boring compared to how they normally feel, whereas people without ADHD who take it feel focused, energized, and sometimes hyper from it.

Jesus man. Prozac is downright terrible for you...really any of those SSRI drugs are bad. Especially when you become dependent on them. Rx's never cure anything, they just help manage (some) symptoms, and they're designed to turn patients into customers so you keep coming back for more.

No different than your regular ol Joe street dealer, except FDA/DEA make it legal.

I dunno what's gone on in your life to make you take those drugs or become depressed...we all have issues, but you know what snaps you out of that....eating better and exercising. Having sex will help too.

I respect your opinion. I do need to work on eating better, and yes exercising helps lift your mood. However, I have tried getting off the meds and just focused on exercising/eating healthier. Simply doing just those two things doesn't work for everyone, if you have a chemical imbalance. Especially in the winter months, when SAD occurs.

Prozac has been a life saver, Adderall has also helped tremendously. Everyone is different tho.

If those meds help you thats all you need to care about. Good on you for getting the help you need.
Have you tried the light therapy box for SAD?

Withdrawals occurred after I got off it the first time, which was IR. Comedowns aren't terrible, just like a caffeine comedown. And I do take my prescribed dose, I just noticed it is worse if I also have caffeine. So i try not to mix the two.

Its the chicken or the egg?

Exercise brings energy/motivation.

Takes energy/motivation to exercise.

My bad thought this was about a safety in the draft.

I've grabbed a few from *legal* friends. It helps me. I don't want to take 30mg a day or anything, but I'm in a demanding field and it's good that one night you really need to bang out some work... just don't get addicted.
