Right, but that's like comparing salmonella-induced diarrhea to a post-Thanksgiving dump. Sure, there's a ton of output in a very short amount of time, but it lacks substance and quality.

The problem you get with polls like this is you get prohibitive favorites that should win hands down. But what happens is that you get some people who like to be contrarians just for the grins and giggles so instead of voting like they normally would they pick "the other guy".

Take Marvel and Indiana Jones....while I love the Indy Jones series, it dropped a couple of stinkers in the franchise and should not even be close to MCU. (Any film that adds Shia Lebouf automatically sucks)

I take it you are comparing Bond to the MCU....if so then you need to take a look at a couple of the Bond movies that really don't measure up. (See George Lazenby for example....)

For me MCU takes first hands down, followed closely by Rocky and LOTR.

I think it is all in what your taste is.

Eh, it's a wide variety of factors. There are many people who just plain don't care about the MCU and have warm fuzzy feeling about Indy, so even though the MCU has been objectively far more successful, they vote for it.

There's also a demographic skew to this place obviously. If you did this same contest among a bunch of 20-30 year olds, there's no way in hell the Godfather is still in it, and Harry Potter is a favorite to win it all.

It is what it is. I'm just enjoying the slight chaos as a mild offseason distraction. :)

The Godfather was on AMC this weekend....watched the whole thing. The original was a classic but the others were not as good.

First off IMO those movies should be seen unedited with no commercial interruptions and secondly there are people who love the franchise that would argue Part II is superior to the original.

I always think it's fascinating to see the wild swings that happen early in these contests. Indy was ahead of the MCU by like 5 with 20 votes, and now it's behind by 5. Sample size is important.

Really? I thought 2 was excellent, but 3 was so bad it may have neutralized the value of 2. I still have difficulty voting against it.
