I doubt that Veach trades for a CB. We will most likely pickup someone that gets cut.

Is his contract expiring? If we trade I don’t want a giant ass contract.

Can always pick up a cb in season too. I don’t feel we are far away from being serviceable at that spot. No injuries and we are fine.

What about the scrub in Pittsburgh that was a 1st or 2nd round pick a couple years ago but was benched last year and who they have effectively scrapped by signing nelson and drafting a cb high? He'd seem to fit the bill wouldn't he?

Don't forget about Reasor. Veach was high on him last year, but he wasn't ready. He got some good experience in the AAF. I'm not expecting him to start or anything, but he may be another good depth piece this year. I had forgotten about him, but I was watching that BJ Kiesel podcast the other day and he was pretty optimistic about him.

We have young depth (Reaser/Ward), just need a reliable starting veteran to pair with Fuller & Breeland.

A lot of these guys have mentioned the coaching this year. I think that’ll make a huge difference this year.

Veach flat out said they are waiting till training camp to revisit some trade opportunities that require cap space AND draft picks to obtain.

Basically then if someone steps up in TC and is balling out then we aren't acquiring anyone is what I read into the "waiting till TC" comment.

Somebody from the receiver pool is going to be used as trade-bait for a CB. There will be a trade written up and ready to go as soon as Hill returns to the lineup.
