Bet the farm.
KC wins by double digits. |
Andy Reid's Week 1 record with the Chiefs:
2013: 28-2 win over the Jaguars 2014: 26-10 loss to the Titans 2015: 27-20 win over the Texans 2016: 33-26 OT win over the Chargers (biggest comeback in Chiefs history, Keenan Allen injury game) 2017: 42-27 win over the Patriots 2018: 38-28 win over the Chargers Andy Reid on week 1 is just as good as Andy Reid on a bye week. Take the Chiefs -3.5. |

Yall will be fine. Our offense is outdated. Score 21 and it's gg. But the hard part is getting 21 on our defense.

Last year, the Chiefs defeated the Jags 30-14, and from what I remember that game was never in doubt, with the Chiefs leading at the half, 20-0.
Now, Foles is a better QB than Bortles in every respect, and the Jags have tweaked their D a bit (J. Allen), Foles is still learning the offense, and still trying to develop chemistry with his receivers. On the other hand, remembering that Mahomes was still learning the offense last year, and the Chiefs have made some significant additions to the offense, and that our defense should be better than what it was last year, the Chiefs really should win this game by at least 10 pts. If I had to guess the score, I'd call it Chiefs 30, Jags 20. |
