Jones literally seems like he would take a discount. He bleeds Kansas City. If he’s willing to do 15 mil a year I’d get that deal done today!

If you're the Patriots it takes a video camera and many secret recordings

There are going to be some tough roster decisions that have to be made.

TomBarndtsTwin 02-05-2020 11:14 AM

Simple answer? Patrick Mahomes.

Realistic answer: a little luck and a mostly healthy team.

The Chiefs are obviously one of the few teams in the NFL now that have the ability to actually win a Bowl.

I remember my Royals homer buddy telling me how this is a baseball town and he was so excited when Salvy and Alex Gordon were the face of Kansas City. While I don't diminish them, they are KC legends....but this is Patrick Mahomes city.

Chris Jones will want AT LEAST frank clark money.

That's $20 mil. per.

And that's a starting point . . . . .

BWillie 02-05-2020 11:15 AM

I think we aren't giving Lamar Jackson enough credit. What he and the Ravens did in the regular season was nothing short of amazing. I never thought they would get that good.

He's gone if that is what he legit expects to be paid.

That Chris Jones contract scares the shit out of me.

They say that the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.

Eric Berry, Justin Houston, Tamba Hali, Ron Parker, Alex Smith and (back a ways), Dan Williams, all signed big contract extensions for that time.

It's a crap shoot for sure and glad I don't have to make that decision.

He played his ass off, no question about it.

They’re probably my still our main competition. But the blueprint is out on how to beat them. Now I’m sure there are many teams who don’t have the defensive players to follow the blueprint.

We just need to get better and faster at LB. That's gotta be our #1 priority on defense.
