I don't like international games but this tells me two things: one, this is likely the first chip to fall.

Two: who would want a bunch of Americans coming into their country during the pandemic and considering our leadership?

Don't be a douchebag and bring your politics into this thread. I'm not any happier about the leadership in the House, but this isn't the place for it.

Kiimo 05-04-2020 01:24 PM

It's not politics it is facts. You know, like evolution.

Why Not? 05-04-2020 01:25 PM

I’m kinda with you on the first part of your post. As much as I hate international games, this has an ominous feel to it

displacedinMN 05-04-2020 01:39 PM

any rumblings on what the schedule will look like?

BigRedChief 05-04-2020 01:51 PM

Since most of you are not reading the tickets and tailgate thread for the Miami and TB games.......

TB is selling tickets to the Chiefs game on Saturday. The Dolphins are not. Miami may wait for months to sell tickets to fans.

"The first chip to fall"

What does that mean?

Season is going to get cancelled. The bigger the team is, the more difficult it will be to hold the season. I can see golf and tennis and other individual sports coming back. But NFL and MLB have big teams. Alot of people to keep track of.

If only we could have been more heavy handed with the shut down. If we could convince everyone to not do anything at all for 3 weeks. No work, no fun, no nothing. Then eliminate international travel after that, this thing would be almost gone. Of course that is in a vacuum and idealistic scenario - certainly almost impossible to achieve in a 331M populated country.

I'm pretty sure he's one of those people who thinks everyone needs to stay inside for the next 5 years.

What BWillie said but also for the NFL season to happen this pandemic needs to be managed a thousand times better than it is. See you all at the beach! We did it!

Well it's official, the NFL season will 100% be played this year. With BWillie saying it's getting cancelled, you can put your life savings on it getting played.
