Admittedly, that means precisely **** all - he was a right fit, right time guy here. This isn't a team that was ever at risk at falling off the rails and he was the right kind of emotional energy for this specific team.

Eh, I disagree. As long as he kept bringing it, a high level of play I mean, he could say whatever he wanted on the field if he were my teammate. I'd only get annoyed if he was all talk.

I used to play with a guy in HS that would sometimes break out the chatter, and most of it was nonsense, but I enjoyed it because I knew he was bringing a lot of chaos along with it. And you knew when it was working when players on the other team would start jawing back.

At the NFL level these guys know when they're winning and when they aren't. If they have someone yapping at 'em like that whether they win or lose a rep, I cannot imagine for a moment it really rattles them all that much.

Maybe I'm wrong - but at those high levels mental acuity is a pretty big deal. Getting a mudhole stomped in your ass may rattle you, but winning a rep and having some dude who's CONSTANTLY talking tell you that you lost it? Just doesn't seem like it would mean much.

I don’t like dudes like that. And quite frankly, when I played ball dudes talking made winning more sweet.

That being said, you don’t get the Clark without the talk. And at that level there are far more Clark’s than Buehler445s.

Clark is the best mic'd up ever. He acts like he has no damn idea it's even on him. Hilarious what he comes up with.

In the second video, I like the observation that in the first four weeks they've beaten all three other AFC divisional winners from 2019. That's powerful.

He could easily be a heel in pro wrestling if he wanted to. He just has it.
