The OL Groupe, the parent company of Olympique Lyonnais, has agreed to buy the National Women’s Soccer League’s Reign FC, the parties announced on Thursday. Reign FC and the OL Groupe entered into exclusive negotiations for the takeover last month. The sale is expected to close in January 2020, pending approval by the league’s board of directors. The OL Groupe, through a newly formed U.S. registered company, will invest $3.125 million and have an 89.5% stake in Reign FC, valuing the club at $3.51 million. https://equalizersoccer.com/2019/12/...aluation-nwsl/ |

Wow. That's higher than I would have expected, but then again I don't follow women's professional soccer very closely. I wonder what kind of crowds they draw, or if they get a nice TV deal to produce revenue. |
I hadn't realized that KC lost their NWSL team. Our first franchise in that league, FC Kansas City, won NWSL championships in 2014 and 2015, the 2nd and 3rd years of that league's existence.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nation..._championships I watched a couple of their games on TV and enjoyed them. |
Thought I heard about this back during the summer. Jeez that picture of Brittany on TMZ is terrible. Makes her look like a methhead. :shake:
