I built my own i have since the mid 2000's. Im a PC gamer though, so mines built for games!

i have a Ryzen 7 3800x with a AMD Radeon 5700 XT. Was the only card last year that i was able to get for MSRP because of stupid crypto mining.

I normally just buy cheaper ones from Best Buy either desktop or laptop. Have both at home and my own desktop at the office. Best part with having OneDrive and Google Drive its like all my computers are the same now.

Still running the last one I built for myself about 8 years ago... i5-4590 with an AMD RX 570 4gb/256-bit and 16 gb ram. Still plenty fine in most games but it's definitely time for an upgrade. Built plenty of others in the interim for everyone else but just haven't treated myself. Waiting on AMD to catch up with the console demand so their prices drop back down to normal before I do another.

I've tried that, but I can't get my garage sealed well enough to make the semiconductors.

Yeah you're kinda out there in the ether, somewhat in between generations

I kinda get it... but nothing pleases me more than having an actual CD of my favorite album, it ALWAYS sounds better on my early 2000s stereo with real wood built speakers than any kind of computer stuff IMO
