I'm convinced now that's its not a scheme or personnel issue(except Sorensen.....maybe). This team is gunshy on both sides. Pat been turtling up. I wonder if "taking what the offense gives us" has gotten too ingrained in his head.

not too far from the truth

defense needs a complete rebuild, so op is starting out 50% correct.

apart from hill & kelce we have no solid weapons and no running threats.

our O line is a work in progress


so basically we do need a massive amount of changes (personnel wise)

The rebuild starts with Veach and Spags, although Veach is the bigger problem to fix IMO.

The entire team looks fat and happy to me unfortunately.

That's plenty fixable without a rebuild. We aren't going to have a dominant defense in the new era. But we have plenty of talent to not be nearly this bad. And we weren't nearly this bad last year with mostly the same players.
So this is really what we need to do, but it puts us in a tight spot for DE. Moving Jones back inside and losing Clark means we need two new edge guys.
