Imagine Chris Simms thinking he has the cache to criticize any great QBs.
That's like me trying a Gordon Ramsey meal and telling him it sucks. |

We'll know a lot more this week. Cowboys have a great offense. It's great that Mahomes got the offense going when the defense was putting the screws to the opponent, but can he maintain that same swagger without pressing if the defense is giving up more scores?
Yes, I know he's won plenty of shootouts in his career. The problem during his "slump" is he wasn't winning those shootouts and throwing picks in the process. Can he get that part of his game back? |

No, its not. He may not have been physically gifted like a great QB but that doesnt mean he cant recognize or critique one. Do you think Belichik could criticize a QB or Andy Reid or anyone who has studied or played the position? Of course they can. Its literally just an opinion anyway. Same goes for Chef Ramsey, do you HAVE to like his food just because hes a famous Chef? No. If his food sucked to you, then it sucked. Other people may like it but again, thats your opinion. |

I've been critical of the General Manager. Not Mahomes. |

Simms still thinks the Raiders didn't play the Chiefs the right way.
They did in the first and Reid and Mahomes crushed it. Then the Raiders altered in the 2nd half but they didn't alter to things that were better. They played more 3 high and that left wide open field for us to run guys through and to hit RPO stuff. Against KC you limit the deep shots AND take away the RPO game by dropping your linebackers back more. Make Reid run the ball more which he dislikes. |

Simms takes are solid, per usual. He is spot on that the faid really screwed up with their defensive playcalling. Play a basic cover 2, stay patient, force KC to run first and often. They didn't do that: they played a cover 3 with occasional cover 1. They frigging blew it, defensively, and the Chiefs did something fairly new for this season: they made them pay for it. Credit to KC for much improved execution. |

That just absolutely killed The Raiders. It's been there, we just haven't taken it much. Sunday we saw how taking that outlet pass, especially early, opens everything up later in the game. |

It wasn't just Mahomes and execution. Our coaching had become stale as well and Reid finally altered for more than the scripted plays (In Green Bay he attacked the weak spots then went back to our normal playbook). |
