I refuse to bother to learn the name of any of my daughter’s boyfriends for at least 6 months (possibly longer at my discretion). I call them all “Smedely”. It reinforces the fact that it’s a transient title and they are not likely permanent fixtures in our lives.

He is a good guy. Farms with his dad and has a job in the seed business. Just bought a house. I would say we have a year before we need to worry about anything. Just hope when she moves, she can find a job for her worth.

I just bought some inflatables for the front yard. I always thought they were rather tacky.

Its work but can be a special time for sure.

Wife and kids love it. I love letting them do it. They take it down too. It’s all about training.

Another advantage to living at the end of a road in the middle of nowhere. Nobody would see the damned things if I bothered to put any up.

We just wrapped up yesterday. The Mrs. and my daughter handle the interior while the boys and I take care of the outside. Doesn’t take too long with everyone involved.
