Tyreek dropped a 65 yard pass that hit him in the chest. Spags decided to phone this one in. Some of those penalties were obviously terrible calls but the Chiefs did a great job of beating themselves as well.

Agree entirely with this post. We didn't deserve it, even with the awful refs
|
our dbs must have a reputation or something because the refs were all over us
Spags did not adjust at halftime |
So let me get this straight:
On one had we had too many penalties that hurt us too much but on the other hand this was one of the worst officiated games in the NFL this season :hmmm: |
Well, it is what it is. On to the Broncos. Take care of business going forward.
|
We must keep the 2 seed. It's not that bad to have if not the one.

Agreed with the sentiment of the post... there's a lot that could be complaints, but aren't, like the holding on the kickoff return and several of the DPIs that were clearly DPIs.
That said... the 3rd down DPI on what looked like Burrow throwing a comeback route and the WR not coming back was total bullshit, I believe on their go ahead drive. And end of the day regardless of the outcome, it's a ****ing shame the final few minutes were completely ruined by the refs. I could only laugh at the double holding call, how sadly fitting. The strategy of the final couple minutes along with the goal line stand and whether the guy got in on 4th down...... that was such a great ending, ****ing ruined by the refs. :shake: |

It sucks to lose, but it really sucks to have to listen to the talking heads suck Bengal cock all week when they barely won and we got ****ed.

Thanks for the perspective. Refs blew it. So did we. On to the Donkos.

Astute recap as always, G-blow. Very mature and with just enough grumbling.
I hated this game. Every time the Chiefs stopped a Cincy play I was just waiting for the flag. Or when Chiefs made an advance I was also waiting for a flag. When you are constantly praying "no flags" out loud for the whole second half of a game, it just ain't right. I DON'T think the refs are in on some conspiracy, tho. I understand how it makes a fan's ego feel good to think that -- that we are a better team who got cheated out of a win. To me it's more like these refs were officiating together for the first time, and they get conservative and make mistakes, or call things that more comfortable refs would normally not, like in several other games we've played. Just, why did it have to be THIS game?! So many head-scratching calls, it felt like when those replacement refs were reffing during the zebra strike. Whatever. Hope we crush the Donks and every team in the playoffs and the Super Bowl. |
