That's only because everyone expects the supply to double this year.

I'd be happy to buy it from him.

Deal. Can we use a middleman so I know you won't rip me off?

I worked at The Arizona Gold Exchange at 43rd & Northern back in the early/mid nineties, at this is pretty spot on.

Every ring bought or lost in pawn, unless it was super nice, was stripped of stones and the gold/etc melted down.

That's pretty unfortunate. Better than nothing I guess.

I could trade you a replica straight up for your rings.

Well done sir. Well done.

I would try eBay or Worthy for the platinum ring. I wouldn’t even know what a reasonable price would be.

Well damn. That's not bad. Seriously consider an auction of some sort. You can do one of FB in the spring.

Wife and I went into Tiffany's before we got married. She showed me a 35,000 engagement ring and I said oh **** no.

I sold my ex wife's wedding ring, $11,000! Bye Felicia!

I've always heard that people buy jewelry and sell gold and diamonds. You're right you'll get screwed unless you sell it to someone that is looking to buy jewelry.
