Not a fan of McDaniels , Don't like how he ran the Donks, Don't like how he did the Colts wrong but he is not 33 years old anymore, He does script a good game, and he was very effective in the red zone. Raiders needed a change, Olson had to go and as much as I liked Bradly , 26th ranked D won't cut it. I am more concerned about who he installs around him. He will have to have a helluva offense to win me over.

Jesus Christ how many times will teams go to that well, despite the fact it's NEVER WORKED.

That is a laughable hire, this is why Raiders have not been good in a decade

It’s almost like the Raiders and Broncos both realize they have no chance and they just aren’t even really trying. Because I can’t imagine any intelligent person running a football organization would make such awful choices.

I would say the latest round of coaching hires says the NFL might as well dump the Rooney Rule because no one pays the least bit of attention to it and they're not even pretending anymore.

He's obviously not very smart. Why would you go to a division where the absolute ceiling is 2nd place ???

When will people learn that the "Patriot way" = having Tom Brady?

*insert Count Zarth laughing gif*

The guy failed in the AFCW once. Why in the world would he think he can do better this time with Mahomes and Herbert in the division?
|
There are some positives but the fact that NE didn't miss a beat without McDaniels, how badly he struggled with the Broncos, how awful his Rams offense was, and in general how poorly NE assistants have done without Belichick renders concerns.
