It's early yet, but I feel confident this will be the dumbest thing I read all day.

Nah, Rex Ryan said the same thing and Shannon Sharpe. Mahomes lost his confidence that game

They seemed intimidated by the Bengals D once things started to go south. Like they just were playing to not make mistakes, timid, scared of getting hit and running - instead of trying to score and not panicking.

Reid teams on offense get too soft sometimes. Chiefs desperatel y need a bruising RB like Hunt

Get a bruising RB like Hunt for Reid not to call a run play. It's so crazy it just might work.

I'm over Hunt, but they WERE built to dominate with him.

Pieces were in place.

It's certainly odd that he can have ice water in his veins and methodically rip a team's heart out one week, and then appear to completely mentally collapse after one bad series before halftime the following week.

It would be easy to pass it off as him just having a bad game, but we were seeing the same thing earlier this season as well.

LMAO

There are legitimate strategic football reasons as to why the Chiefs lost yesterday. None of this "lost confidence" or "Reid's teams are soft" nonsense has anything to do with it.

I wouldn't say Reids teams are necessarily soft but I believe Reid is, and not just physically.

Reid constantly lets off the gas in games and then teams take advantage and climb right back into something they have no business being in. Even if he's not calling traditional runs he'll start throwing out a bunch of pass plays that are just glorified run plays that really have no intention of picking up first downs and the team starts going 3 and out over and over out of nowhere.

He doesn't have that "if you dont like it then stop it" mentality.

Mahomes was just afraid of what his baby mama and dipshit brother would do to embarrass him if he pulled off the Dub.

Ironicially from post 1, I said during the game it seemed like Vegas called to tell him they had people duct taped until he threw the game.

The playcalling on the final series of regulation was just horrific. Like, how hard is it to just hand the ball off to eat their last timeout, hand off again to move the clock, and then get into your scoring mode?

It was literally all qb scrambles, a huge yardage loss and a near lost fumble.

Two handoffs you gain yards there at the very least.

It was just bizarre.

Reid chokes in the playoffs.

It is what it is. He's a great regular season coach.

Yesterday was his 3rd 18+ point lead he's blown in the playoffs with the Chiefs.

I don’t think mahomes lacked confidence. What was stunning is his lack of leadership and emotion. It was very uncharacteristic for mahomes. I see it as a one time deal but man, itd be easy if some scrub played like shit. His whole performance just cannot be explained.

Idk. I saw a lot of that earlier in the season. He seemed to break out of it but Def didn't seem like Mahomes i knew when Chiefs O was struggling earlier in the year
