It really depends on how the management structure at your place of employment is. Normally i would say that this is a face to face conversation with your direct supervisor and/or manager.
Who at your company has the authority to grant pay raises? That being said, in either email or face to face the same basic concepts apply. It is important to talk about the successes you have had, you outperforming your peers, and your intent to continue to learn and grow as an employee. Talk about why you deserve the raise. Don’t give ultimatums. Be genuine and be confident. You don’t need a template, you got this! |
