Kind of ironic that he’s partly following Britt Reid, eh?

But those incidents were from 2005 & 2006.

While stupid, I’d like to think he’s past that and grown from those experiences since it was 15+ years ago.

Hopefully his demons don’t get him while he’s here . . . . . .

That's... not a good look for us if we hire another position coach with an alcohol/drugs problem in his past given we're still attempting to save face from Britt Reid nearly killing a girl

CoMoChief 02-04-2022 09:25 AM

I kinda wish the Chiefs would move on from Spags tbh.

I think you're going to make not a lot of hires if you avoid people with a substance abuse problem in the NFL.

I'd have to be on something to get in at 4 am and work till 9 pm every day for months.

Some folks on Twitter wondering if this is an indication we might be going to a 3-4, and if so, is that an indication that we might be getting a new DC.

Just chatter and bs for now, but worth watching

I truly feel our most talented front 7 defenders (Jones, Bolton, Gay) would thrive in a 3-4. Jones has already proven he's a much better fit in that scheme. Ingram has always been a 3-4 guy too if they're planning on re-signing him.

Would love to see it. What we're doing now is beyond stale.

Not really much reason to stick with a 4-3 right now. All of the good assets on the front 7 would transition over.

Gotta be better than Daly. He has had the DL regress every year under him. Another Pats cast off that’s magic ran out when he left BB.

Gay and Bolton are your ILBs and they’d be fine. You don’t have any OLB/DEs in house and Danna/Kaindoh aren’t 3-4 DEs. Jones is though.

I hope to god we don’t move back to the 3-4.

Feel bad for Daley if true. We’ve completely neglected the DL through the draft ever since he got here.

Clark quit, Okafor sucks and Chris Jones has been the same guy despite multiple DL coaches.

To his credit he found Danna who has been an excellent role player. Wharton was a damn nice find too. Shocking that the best DL on the team was acquired mid season.

This team needs a talent and youth injection on the DL in the worst way.

Sorry, I don't give a shit.

Look at the money spent on the line. Yeah, we didn't invest much cap capital in the D line, but we didn't ignore it.

Has a Reid team ever ran a 34?

We only have two LB's. Going to be hard to run a 34 as the base D.

dallaschiefsfan 02-04-2022 10:13 AM

Saw something on Twitter (so take with a grain of salt) that said Daly is joining Ken Flajole to coach the LB's. So Daly not gone?
