I'm good with drafting a guy between the 3rd and 5th though.

Im good with that as well and believe that is the plan currently.

But I think signing Fournette for reasonable money and using that pick on something else is a much better improvement, immediately.

Melvin Gordon would be perfect for the Chiefs. (Except for the fumbles)

CEH isn't nearly as bad as people think. He averaged 4.3 YPC in 2021 in the regular season. That's very respectable.

Im not giving up on CEH completely but I want an insurance policy or better just in case.

Those numbers are misleading in my opinion. With teams playing two high safeties, dropping 8 into coverage and daring us to run, 4.3 ypc seems like any JAG could get that. Those defenses are a RBs dream to play against and a Good/Great RB would change the way a defense plays against us.

Because the O line opened massive holes. He is completely average.

Oh good.

Another RB that can’t get to the corner.

Sounds like a great plan.

The answer is Chase Edmonds.

McCaffrey, Saquon, and likely Kamara are all available via trade but wouldn't mind Fournette either.

Derrick Gore works for me

Brain dead Andy and his assistant are too dumb to use a rb. see Chiefs bs. Bengals... all they had to do was run the ball to win on 2nd half

We have 2 that can run the ball if given a chance in the right situations

Fournette does NOT require a draft pick, he also wouldnt cost near as much as those other guys.

Outside of Saquon maybe, those other guys are out of range.

I like Chase Edmonds, yes he can get to the edge, wouldnt mind adding him at all. BUT he is another small guy that is easily injured and wont get the short yardage or goal line.

If you havent really watched Fournette, you should. He can do it all.

If Breece Hall falls into the 3rd round I would go get him. He is going to be a superstar if he is drafted by a high level offense.

Hall ran himself into the mid-2nd, IMO. Maybe late 2nd.

I can't see him being there by the late 3rd.

I agree there. A lot of later round picks to use if we want to move around in the draft however. The majority of the fanbase would freak out if we spent a late 2nd/early third on another running back but Breece Hall is your answer at the position for the foreseeable future (homerun speed, great pass catcher, physicality to run between tackles). Let Clyde be a true change of pace and third down back.

Nope. Not now.
