In the moment I remember most clearly, Mahomes made Tyreek look like a talentless amateur when Mahomes' guaranteed TD pass bounced harmlessly off Hill's facemask.

All Mahomes had to do was not panic on 3rd and goal. We go to the SB. Maybe win one more. That would take some sting off Tyreek leaving.

The truth is Mahomes came into a great situation which allowed him to shine. #1 WR, top TE, and a hall of fame head coach.

He's been able to learn and grow as a QB. It is now up to him to take the next step and lift his team a bit more. I think he is more than capable of doing this.

The a great QB can make jags work theory is ok...it however requires a better defense than this one.

Yep. Brady had more top 10 defenses than Rodgers, Manning, Brees, and Mahomes combined.

The Patriots offense were jags in Brady's early SB wins.

If we're going down the path of how much guys are worth...Chris Jones is the most overpaid dude on this team.

Veach is responsible for pounding the table and hounding Reid for a year on Mahomes, which last I checked, is a pretty competent offensive weapon.

Humphrey and Smith taking souls on the o line, looking pretty ****ing competent.

The guy built a superbowl roster that won one, and went to another.

Hill got paid. He earned it. But there's no way we were paying qb money to a receiver.

Blind, unfettered, unalloyed trust in Reid/Veach/EB/Spags, not so much.

Their job isn't to throw shit on the field and hope Mahomes makes chicken salad.

And while I'm not overly/completely down on Spags as a defensive solution, his make up is to get high performing professionals to execute his plans to perfection, not to assemble a bunch of young raw talent and figure out how to make their talents mesh.

Spags has had great success at points, but Spags and rebuild is disaster.
