Exactly. Which is why im not convinced that Hardman and Moore are the solution.

We already know that Hardman struggles with press and physicality and can be thrown off his route, ****ing up the timing of the play.

Moore is TBD.

Tyreek wasn't just speed, he was a thick ball of muscle that could power through press coverages and physical DB's.

Then you have guys like Smith-Schuster who are the opposite. They can play against press coverages but dont have the speed and quickness to scare anyone deep.

DE is the obvious weakness until proven otherwise.

DB might take some time to mature because we have a lot of new, young players.

I'll disagree somewhat on the WR group. While it is true that none of the WRs look intimidating on their own, I think Mahomes levels them up a bit. Mahomes is talented enough to compensate for somewhat ordinary WRs, IMO.

I'd say MVS has the deep speed. The quick stuff you've got JUJU and Moore.

I kinda am starting to really warm up to the WR room.

There's no clear cut HOF type dude like Tyreek, but I like it 1-6 A TON better than last years.

They're all one-trick ponies until proven otherwise.

I don't wanna rehash this argument we've been having all off-season, but it's a group im worried about, particularly during crunch time.

I mean, yeah, they dont' have a guy that's gonna be an all around dude like Tyreek was (unless Moore is what they seem to think he could be). But realistically, how many teams really have one of those guys?

And really, we still do have one of those guys, he just happens to be the TE

Yeah, sure. But there's going to be times and defenses where we'll need a WR to just make a play on his own.

We don't have a WR on the team where we can lineup and say, "he's gonna punish your defense unless ya'll do something about him".

That's gonna bite us in the ass. Reminds me of the 2020 Bills.

Qb playing out of his mind but it doesn't matter because his average WR's can't consistently win against average to above average DB's.

And it won't be about stats. I'm sure Mahomes will statistically still be great as he and Andy will find ways to get overall production.

It's the key moments in the game that flip momentum or determine an outcome that i'm worried about.

Pretty much every contender has one of those guys. Some even have 2.

The 2020 Bills had Diggs. I'm assuming you don't consider him one of those guys.

If so, I don't know how the 2021 Bills were better.

Where's our man coverage beater at WR? At the moment there's no WR on the roster who a defense will be afraid to leave 1v1.

It'll be interesting to see how that develops as the season progresses, how the Chiefs address that and how defenses adjust to this new look WR group.

I get the feeling we're gonna be having a lot of conversations about our WR's not getting open during critical moments of the game.

If our stubborn coach could run more against 4, 3, or even 2 man fronts, that would be a start.

He was the ONE guy. Like our Kelce. He's our ONE guy now, and he's a TE.

Defense can remove ONE guy if that's all you got.

Cincy meh. They've got 1 and some good pieces. Dolphins now have one for sure.

Philly does.

Alot of those guys are young and were just recently drafted....in spots the Chiefs can't get to .
