I remember in my youth, the Chiefs played in a Hall of Fame game. It got canceled by lightening at halftime I think.

I'd be pissed if we played 4 games and everyone else plays 3 games. Shit happens. A QB sneak, Hello...still get nightmares about a SB season going down.

You couldn't set every starter on the bench for the whole game.

At this point, I think you actually can. They haven't cut the rosters down yet so there are enough guys to suit up without the starters.

Much less entertaining typically.

Only good thing about it is my team got extra training camp out of it which makes it easier to implement the new schemes.

Think of it this way. If you were a female and you were trying something for the first time then the guy you were with put just the tip in slowly you'd appreciate that.

This is what the NFL is doing to you with the HOF game.

How could you not be aware of the HOF game? I definitely understand not watching it and/or thinking it's dumb, but to be completely unaware of it?

I get excited football is back, then 5 minutes into the first quarter, it's so anyway... and flip over to baseball or something.

I really haven't been paying attention. I know the HOF game usually includes teams with a key player getting inducted into the HOF, to help with attendance at the game from fans of that team. Who from the Raiders and Jags are being inducted? Boselli maybe for the Jags?

This game is the equivalent of your kid being sent home from school for repeatedly eating sand out of the sandbox.... and he's twelve.
