I believe it was him. That or they were supposed to triple team the DE. But something tells me that wasn’t the play design.

Dude. Your negative vibes got him hurt. Don’t stRt backpedaling now…o:-)o:-) :)

Let’s Reach has screwed us. Our third string/PS players are as bad as Dunvers starters!!!! We’re screwed!

27 guys to cut to get to 53. But there are about 57-58 that belong on an NFL roster. Hopefully they can get most of the cuts back on the PS.

Top 5 WR spots are locked up. Watson is the 5th. Gordon is gone. Who gets the last spot? Fountain or Coleman. I think that Powell is out. Coleman certainly made his case for the last spot with his returns tonight. I'm guessing that was enough to give him the edge, even though I like Fountain more.

MVS was in concussion protocol so that is why he didn’t play tonight and Bushman fractured his clavicle

Just got back from the game. Fountain looked much better than Coleman, IMO.

Almost hate to say it, but I think RoJo made his case in tonight's game for why he should make the cut. He was 8 for 43yds, and just appeared to run angry. He even caught a pass, I think.

Can't forget about McKinnon.

I don't think you can do that. As I read the IR rules, any player placed on IR before the waiver period must stay on IR all year. I think that's why we had to carry a couple guys past the official 53 man roster date last year. Once that date is passed, you can put them on IR/designated to return. If that's the case, Gore is out for the season and we may have to carry Bell/Bushman and cut a promising player.

i think Veach should think about re-signing Eric Fisher to back up OBJ. If OBJ goes down, we really don't have another starting-caliber LT in the garage. Or heck, give Fish the starting job and let OBJ spend a season learning how to play the position properly behind a more than competent LT.

Pitt Gorilla 08-25-2022 10:43 PM

Danna was living in the backfield tonight against a decent O line.

Might still make the roster.

The guy can run the football. Can’t do a lot of other shit, but he can carry the ball. There will be game scripts and weather that makes that pretty handy to have sooner or later.

Agreed. Good experienced runner.

I'd normally agree, but I don't think we have enough cap money to do so. He was making $16M last year.
