I've got a friend who was goldy the gopher for university of Minnesota for a while. Wonder if he ever wrecked any kids playing football?

These events seem so weird to me. Even though those people are in costumes, they're still grown adults playing football against little kids.

Well, yeah. I too enjoy watching kids get blindsided and stiffarmed. But I would think their parents might not. Or at least some of their parents. The dads might laugh.

I've never had a mascot either, which I think would be more enjoyable at events like this.
