I saw a crazy two halves. Not a great Mia performance. I also a Ravens total meltdown. They play the bills next and lets see how that goes,

First, I dont think Tua can stay healthy over 17 games.

Second, Tua will struggle against teams that get pressure on the QB.

9 wins maybe. anything above that would be a shocker.

I mean.....did you see what he did yesterday?

I'm no Lamar stan, but come on fellas.

He threw it 20 times less than Tua. I'm not saying he didn't throw good. I'm pointing out that when games tighten he sucks a throwing.

Exactly. I think he can be a slightly better version of Jimmy G which would be dangerous in that offense.

The thing that makes Tua scary isn't so much Tua though. It's the weapons he has at his disposal and a legitimate offensive mind and the helm.

McDaniel is 10x better than Joe Lombardi, Nathaniel Hackett and/or Zac Taylor.

Down play them beating Lamar Jackson all you want

LJ has a career record of 41-17

Zebedee DuBois 09-19-2022 01:27 PM

They might be a thorn in the Bills side

Jackson has his warts but he is still an incredible player and a complete unicorn.

I think it will take some time for Baltimore to refine their defense this year but there are some pieces out there.

Kyle Hamilton got absolutely ABUSED yesterday. May just need to get him off the field or play him at LB.

Hamilton was lost several times.

Tyreek is a game changing player, and he better be because they paid him to do no less.

It's interesting to compare the Dolphins and the Bengals. These offenses have a tremendous collection of skill position players. The have somewhat mediocre offensive line play (LAC is okay). Tua, Herbert and Burrow came out in the same draft class and were constantly compared to each other.

Burrow has worn the hat as "the next Tom Brady" since getting hot last year. Herbert is apparently the next Rodgers or something. Tua has been considered trash despite compiling a 17-7 career record as a starter which is considerably better than Burrow (or Herbert for that matter).

Through two games it's blatantly obvious that the Dolphins offense is light years better than anything Burrow or Herbert have ever mustered. This is thanks in large part to Mike McDaniels and the Phins coaching staff.

Miami gets Buffalo and Cincinnati over the next two weeks.

The NFL is going to do to Tua and Burrow what they did to Mahomes and the Chiefs last year. Obviously the Ravens didn't think they needed to do it to Tua but now the rest of the league knows. Take away the big exciting deep shit and for teams to do 80 yard drives.

Dolphins missed playoffs by one game the last two years with a Head Coach that did not believe in his QB.

They are going to be better than that now as long as no major injuries.

Tua was overhyped during the "Tank for Tua" period and he is way undervalued now, because Ryan Fitzpatrick was more ready to QB a shitty offense for a gloomy coach like Brian Flores.

That Ravens defense isn't the Ravens defense of yester year.
