Most of us here in FL already have ourselves prepared...we always keep a storage closet full of supplies during Hurricane season. For the most part we just have to "top off the tank" of little things.

I just had a brilliant idea. We should put a giant fan in Florida to blow the hurricanes toward the American west. That way the hurricanes can put out the forest fires.

The farther out they are they tend to move slower than those cones show on the NHC website and they move further out. I could see this thing going right to the panhandle where they always seem to go.
