Consider it done man. Glad you’re OK.

FIL had bypass and it made him a different dude. He felt a lot better when it was done.

I honestly didn't recognize how bad I was. I should have taken heed when it winded me just to walk from the front of the yard to the back.

Now....I do feel much better.....and see the difference. I am now allowed to drive, go back to work, but am limited in what I can lift still.

But yes...I feel like a new man.

On the contrary.

“I’ve only felt this pain while watching the Chiefs blow a big one and they’re not on. Oh shit!”

I legitimately did not know this. Every time I’ve seen it it’s been with an I.

I need smarter people in my life. ROFL

I’ve always wondered if it was an autocorrected word by the phone or desktop folks use who have had a cardiac procedure.

mm is good people. Glad he’s well.

Facts.

LMAO

Mosb wakes up from sleep in pain "Oh no, something has happened to Patrick!"

Goes to doctor, gets the news he needs surgery. Doctors stare in disbelief when Mosb responds "Oh thank God it's not as bad as I thought it was."

Glad to hear you are still around. Good advice to others. Ignoring it could be tragic. Keep up the recovery. We will meet again. :thumb:

Glad you didn't ignore the warning signs.

You know....I thought there were no warning signs either. But all my friends and my wife were telling me I needed to see my primary for at least a month before this happened.

The first thing everyone says to me now...."man you look so much better, you have color back in your face, and you don't seem so bloated".

I have lost 16 lbs to this point.

glad you're still around! Goes to show that, when it comes to your health, don't mess around.....go to the doctor!

I was actually going to try and make it to the Tampa game before all this occurred. Was going to stay with family I have in that area....

Was looking forward to seeing you and the rest of Chief's Kingdom there. But will be watching from the confines of Casa Mosbonian.

So glad to hear we don't have to add you to the In Memoriam thread.

Feel better.

I was worried about this sort of thing so I went and got a heart scan. I was amazed it scored only a 5 out of 100.

At least I know dying from a heart attack is extremely unlikely for me.

Scan is only $50. I recommend it for peace of mind.

GloryDayz 10-02-2022 08:33 AM

Glad to her you're OK. And good on you, as many have said here, for not ignoring the signs. A few lifestyle changes are in your future, none of them bad, but you're going to better for it.

Keep the faith and all will be good.

I think when a person hits 50 the best thing they can do is start seeing a cardiologist and find out where you stand. Get the tests done.

I had chest pain about 5 years ago and went to the emergency room. They found nothing but sent me to a cardiologist and now I go every 6 months. About a year ago they claim I failed a stress test and said my heart was pumping out 40%. I believe it needs to be 60% or better so they put me on Carvedilol.

Had a heart cath a year ago. Everything looked fine. One artery 30% blockage. But at least I know where I stand.

Glad it all turned out good for you and Now you'll be getting regular checkups.
