Why do the Bears… the most unwatchable team in the entire sport of football, college or NFL besides maybe Iowa… continue to get so many prime time games?
Even the Giants… a similar big market historical franchise aren’t given the same ridiculous amount of exposure as Chicago.

Because they are a big market team. Lots of Bear fan eyeballs will watch, regardless of how shitty the team is. And there's nothing wrong with that. unfortunately, the rest of the world has to endure their shitty team as well.
I actually feel sorry for bears fans (maybe because i was married to one). They have some talent on the team; just a couple years ago they had some very promising young defensive players and a couple on offense as well, but they're QB choices have been catastrophic, and their HCs have been equally ruinous.
I swear, I could pick three CPers to be the GM of the Bears and they'd be much better off in two years. And I wouldn't be a part of that triumvirate. I could just pick, say DJ, htismaqe and RealSNR, and they'd pick a solid HC and enough decent draft picks to get CHI into the playoffs in two seasons, no problem.
And I'm pretty sure none of those guys were ever a GM for a NFL team before.
I mean, just stupid do you have to be to get into the world of shit CHI is in?
