Pretty sure he was an Air Force vet, as well (worked in intelligence, maybe?).
RIP to a childhood favorite. |
How the hell was he 76? Could've sworn he was only maybe ten-fifteen years older than me.
Well, RIP watermelon killer. |

Had a better life than most. RIP |
The Mrs and I were out antiquing today and came across an old circus hammer. I told her it reminded me of the sledge-o-matic. We had a little discussion about him and what he might be up to. Then the news of his passing popped up on my timeline. I hope the shock of someone mentioning his name didn't do him in. Anyway, I loved his act back in the day. RIP

Oh he had PLENTY of other material than smashing watermelons.
You don't want to read it though. He turned into old racist grandpa really quickly. |
RIP.
He had a long career as a comedian. I remember him from the early 80s through the 2000s, at least. Looking at the home he lives/lived in, he did very, very well. |
Was he a member of smashing pumpkins?

Every time I read Gallagher died at 76, I think 'JFC I didn't realize was this old'.
