Is it possible? Sure, it could happen, but it is highly unlikely.

5000 passing yards and 50 TDs, could be done.

Mahomes could get 5 rushing TDs on goal line scampers to the pylon, but those would effectively be coming at the cost of a passing TD.

The only scenario where I see Mahomes averaging 32 rushing yards a game is a season were the offense is not producing at a rate to meet the 5000yd/50 TD mark and Mahomes is constantly forced to run. (see Titans game).

It could be in reach if he was allowed to do QB sneaks at the goal line like TB12. But, I don't think we'll live to see that day...

He’s on pace for well over 5,000 yards but only 42-43 TDs. It’s going to be tougher for him to get 50 TDs. The 5,000 yards is realistic because our run game is just not producing right now.

Yep, it is fun to think about though. It would be the most amazing QB season of all time.

Could he? Yes. Will he? I doubt it. If he’s running for 500 he isn’t passing for 5,000.

Throw a lot of 1 yd TD passes.

Get the defense to obtain turnovers for short drives and more opportunities.

Lot of factors need to go right. Is it impossible? No.

Think he goes over 5000, under 50 TDs (45ish?), I don't see 500 yds rushing (has just 176 now), and under 5 rushing TDs. Just a product of the schedule. He's probably not going to have to run that much in most of the upcoming games or run for TDs. Four of those remaining games could be early nights/days for Pat as well.
