Chiefs need to just take care of business and win...the rest will take care of itself. |
Good.
The season can end earlier than usual. Onto 2023. |
Surprising they'd put the Chiefs on the Saturday. Potential advantage to the Bills knowing the outcome of that game now (and knowing whether they can rest Allen/others).

Imagine if you bought a ticket to fly into Vegas next Saturday afternoon/evening, expecting a Sunday game.
There shouldn't be any Saturday games, period, in week 18. |
Also, it really potentially helps the Patriots. Miami should be PISSED.

Though if Cincinnati wins, they can still become the top seed, if both Buffalo and Kansas City lose in week 18. |

I thought for sure the Jags would play Sunday night. It’s the only one not contingent on other outcomes while also still being a win and in scenario. It really makes no sense to not have them. Now whoever is playing Sunday night, there’s a decent chance one team has nothing to play for.

There was a scenario where if the Bills win out before the Chiefs played, the Chiefs could have been locked into the #2 seed and rested their starters.
But that's not happening now. Seems like the league is basically banking the Chiefs will win. They'll probably put Bills/Pats on Sunday night. That will probably be a huge game for both teams. |
