Never heard of him.

Buehler445 01-08-2023 06:51 PM

It’s probably fine. He’s got the ring.

He got an extra 5M per (ish) and moving to a state that has no state income tax saved him in the neighborhood of 500K per year on the home games. Then he gets taxed at the state of where the game is for the others.

Possibly the best first 15 replies to a post this whole season.

Football players work all week, and play 3 hours on the road. That's kind of bullshit that they get taxed for that entire weeks work based on the local state rate.

Not seeing why he would regret his decision. He has generational wealth now and lives in Miami where he already had a home. He has a ring as well. He is fine.

FlaChief58 01-08-2023 06:57 PM

He got what he wanted and despite what the bobble heads on tv would have you believe, the Chiefs actually improved after trading him. Who gives a shit if he regrets leaving, choices have consequences

Chris Meck 01-08-2023 06:59 PM

He said he was-"all about the legacy"

Which was bullshit. He was all about the benjamins. He took a little more to go to Miami.

He's full of shit. A bunch of excuses, and a bunch of bullshit.

**** 'em. He gone.

RaidersOftheCellar 01-08-2023 07:00 PM

Of course he regrets it. You don’t move from something special to something average without regrets. As if his interviews didn’t make it obvious enough.

The bobbleheads on TV always talk about how good we are without him.

Yeah, the “need more targets” angle was bullshit. If anything, Mahomes forced the ball to Tyreek too often instead of throwing to a more open receiver.

Isn’t that what Tyreek said? Or am I misremembering.

Now they do, but all offseason all we kept hearing about is the gloom and doom about to happen in KC. Hell, most of them predicted we would finish 3rd or 4th in the division and wouldn't even make the playoffs

Pitt Gorilla 01-08-2023 07:06 PM

Got us Karlaftis and Moore (plus others) and doesn't count an obscene amount against our cap. Nothing to be too upset about, IMO.

He would have had generational wealth in KC too. Not like KC was planning on paying him Mcdonalds pay.

I only regret KC didn’t trade him to an NFC team.

Had Chief Fans on here doing the same.
