Just FYI, if you do go to the rally I’m guessing there will be some people in the crowd smoking weed. There were at the last rally, and with it being legal for recreational purchase and even nicer outside, I imagine there will be quite a few people partying hard on the parade route and at the rally. They asked Mayor Q after he made an announcement not to bring alcohol if he thought people would be following that rule and he blatantly just said no and laughed a little about it. Definitely still think it’s an experience you don’t want to miss out on, but just something to be mindful of so you can be ready to answer what that smell is. LMAO

Taking my daughter. Missed out on taking her in Feb 2020, because she was still only 6 and the forecast had shown a decent amount of snow, but that never really materialized. It was a bit cold for her and that's a lot of walking for a 6 year old in shitty weather.

This year will be about as nice as you can possibly get.

****in' A. I walked from my place to the parade last SB win. Will do it again this year. Stopping by Browne's Irish Marketplace on the way for a couple beers, and probably again on the way back. Check it out if you're in the local area. Parking sucks overall, best of luck there's really no good recommendations. Plan to park many blocks away. Last time there were a bunch of publicized bus routes and places you could park away from downtown and use public transportation back and forth.

At the location, it's pretty much chaos. Probably close to a million people. Many will be drunk and high as hell. Last parade was just a super cool vibe throughout the entire day, and I expect nothing less this time. But if you are intending to bring kids, please know that there was a great deal of drinking and smoking going on last time, and it will be worse this year with the leagalization in MO. Plan accordingly. Temps should be much better this year though. Everybody who can, get your asses down here on Wednesday.

I'm not going but if I were in your shoes I'd 100% go, you should do it. It'll be good memory for your kid and it's worth the long drive IMO

Went to the Royals parade and swore I would never do that again. But I want to go to this one and should have been more pro active and got a hotel tonight along the parade route so I guess I will watch from home again.

We went to the last one and hung out on the hill kind of away from the big crowd as he was only 6 at the time. I let him climb some trees a little bit so he could see them. But I appreciate the heads up!

Sadly I'm about 4.5k miles away. Hope you all have an incredible time
