I have a F250 and it’s a beast. Basically F350 is another leaf spring and minor suspension. Save the money unless you are towing a cement truck.

I just went from an F-250 to an F-350. The 350 rides noticeably rougher.

Agreed, I drive my silverado 1500 most times as it turns easier and is vastly more comfortable.

I also like road head.

I'd get the 650. I mean why not.

How many phone books do you sit on to see over the steering wheel?

I believe a lot of the fully loaded(options) f250s only have a max 5th wheel towing of between 14-15k. I am thinking I was going to get a toy hauler which a lot of them weight 10-12k plus my UTV is another 2k+. I am possibly already maxxing this thing out and I haven't even started putting gear or anything else in it.

I know the 2wd can tow considerably more but I was looking and couldn't find a fully loaded truck that wasn't 4wd. I am not even sure it is an option.

What year though? Supposedly the newer ones are supposed to ride exactly the same... supposedly.

KCJake 04-24-2023 01:23 PM

I sale new Fords at a dealership in Idaho. I don't think you'll ever tell a difference as far as ride quality goes. Or anything else for that matter. The F250 is kinda becoming a thing of the past. The whole "1 ton rides a lot rougher than a 3/4 ton" is basically a thing of the past.

Would you say the 2019 year falls into this category? Or how new we talking?
