I can envision Barry Wilner turning around and facing the twitter hordes screaming "COME AT ME BRO".

Tomlinson vs Alworth is a tough one for me

For the AFL era Chiefs, I’d argue Bobby Bell (voted 1st team all-pro five consecutive years) over Willie Lanier. I think many people would take DT over both.

Lanier is the right pick. He anchored what is arguably the best defense in Chiefs' history. He gets it over DT because he won a Superbowl.

Lanier is a reasonable choice.

That ‘69 defense was sick. With 2 HoFers at every level.

Bobby Bell
Buck Buchanan
Curly Culp
Willie Lanier
Johnny Robinson
Emmitt Thomas

Three other players made the pro-bowl or were second-team All Pro that year:

Jim Lynch
Jerry Mays
Jim Marcellus

Only two starters never received any post season accolades, but both had very solid careers:

Aaron Brown
Jim Kearney

Oh it will be for sure. He's already the best Chief of all-time, even if he never played again.

Who the **** was that? If I've never even heard his name, is he REALLY HOF worthy?

Deion is right. They let just about anybody in this ****ing thing these days.

He was a 5'9 220 lb LB but I remember him more in his 9 years with N.O. Aints.

He was a tough hard nosed LB but HOFer was one of those wtf selections.

I’d go with Len Dawson for the Chiefs best HOF’er.

Of course Mahomes will eventually have that title.

TRASH!!!

I love Deacon Jones but Marshall Faulk was the first, and BEST, modern NFL RB. TOTAL BS

I'm not taking Willie Lanier over DT either.

Joe Montana over Jerry Rice as well.

Tom Brady not making the cut for the Patsies is a complete joke as well.

I think I'll go back to watching Hank Stram highlights. Feel free to join.

Well, reerun, Brady isn’t in the hall of fame so doesn’t qualify. Faulk had about 3 good seasons, DT never won shit (and by your qualifier of not even needing to be in the Hall of Fame it’s clearly Mahomes anyway), and I don’t know how you argue to greatest WR of all time beating out Montana. Go back to being in the middle of a gang bang of your uncle and sister.

Peyton Manning over Johnny Unitas is criminal

Tim Brown finished in top 5 categories when he retired despite playing with a bunch of scrubs at QBs until Gannon arrived.

So? Tony Gonzalez and Larry Fitzgerald did the same. If you're talented, play a long time and stay healthy, you'll put up big numbers as a receiver, regardless of who your QB is. You need a good QB to win championships. Not to put up big numbers.

Andre Johnson too
