Have you ever had pancreatitis? That is one thing to watch out for with TG elevation.

Fenofibrate or Vascepa are usually the first choices for therapy. Watch alcohol consumption.

Damn, why does everyone always say “watch alcohol consumption”?

Because alcohol is universally bad for the human body

I used to have really bad triglycerides in my late 20s and early 30s but turns out I was just sleeping 3 or 4 hours a night and drinking heavily once a week.

Never had any type of issues with my pancreas. My TG levels are around 370 right now. They've hovered between 200 and 400 since I started having them tested 6-7 years back.

I don't drink any alcohol whatsoever.

What are the odds this is/has already done damage to my body?

Certain things are genetic, and you can't really control them. You can get more testing done like coronary artery calcium scores and you can talk to your PCP about Apo B tests, but it sounds like you're doing most of what you should be.

https://my.clevelandclinic.org/healt...protein-b-test

The formula for calculating LDL is as follows

LDL cholesterol = total cholesterol - HDL - (triglycerides / 5)

So, if you have a cholesterol level of 200 and an HDL of 50, your LDL would be

200-50-(370/5)=76 which is really damned good.

My LDL this time around was 71.

Triglycerides this time were 263.

A1c was solid.

Interesting...never knew how they calculated LDL. The equation Hamas posted checks out. My LDL is 33.
