The whole line sucked today but I mean it had to be hot as balls at that game.

Weird day.

Kind of reminds me of the first half ish of the 2021 season this time the defense is much better though and that team *should* have beaten the Bengals in the afc title game

Fat boys don't like the heat.

They also went up against some good DEs too.

It’s comforting that, on a bad day for our OL, our lead back still averages 5.8 yards per carry while we only allow 1 sack and 4 QB Hits.

The sack probably wasn’t on the OL either.

I wonder how Jag fans feel about their OL.

Our offensive line was highly offensive.

Jawaan Taylor should be cut ASAP. He is repulsive.

Taylor had a bad day. I think he became frustrated by the fact that every official on the field were keying on him every play (Thanks Collingsworth). He went in to this game with a bullseye on his back. I think he and Andy with work this out going forward.

They will get better as the year goes on. This happens every year we have new tackles. They’re not used to mahomes or playing together. Takes a few weeks to gel and hopefully the refs have made their point in penalizing Taylor for something that’s never been penalized.

Excuse me sir we have to deduct Pacheco's 40 yard run in the second half.

Can't have any outliers y'know

I didn't pay attention to Taylor in Jacksonville just read how he was a solid player. Has he done the false start thing his whole career?

Sadly, yes. You can find reddit threads fretting about it from 2021.

This is why I prefer data to whiny bitches on reddit threads:

2019 (Rookie Year): 5 False Starts all Year, Played all 16 Games
2020: 4 False Starts all Year, Played all 16 Games
2021: 3 False Starts all Year, Played all 17 Games
2022: 3 False Starts all Year, Played all 17 Games
2023: 3 False Starts (in 2 weeks)

Whatever is happening here, is something that is happening to this whole OLine imo. That, or there is something chemistry wise that is off.

He is a much better OT than he has played the last 2 weeks. Coaching should fix this. Give it a little time.

He needs a lot of work on YAC though.

I think if he fell forward and picked up first down, Chiefs would have another 3rd down with a five yard penalty.

Not completely sure, but I think he should have went forward and that would have given the Chiefs another chance to convert on 3rd down.
