Man I REALLY like what they're doing with Chenal. Not sure it all happens for him straight away but now they seem to be including him as a pass-rusher it feels like he's becoming a really all-round balanced player. 4 pressures that last game, solid in coverage, great against the run. He's contributing in every role he's asked to perform in.

He's been a terror so far from the interior.

I'd say switch him to passrush DT specialist full time, but he's also by far the best run defender we have at DE.

That foursome is a top eight unit right now. By December, let's see.

I actually like our DL more than our secondary right now, total switch from my earlier expectations. Feels like the extra pressure as well as McDuffie dominating in the slot is letting our other DBs off a bit. If Sneed gets back into rhythm soon though and one of Watson or Williams gets stickier in coverage, we're in amazing shape.

Not sure about Cook, but both safeties started slow last year and came good. Hoping the same happens.

Feels bizarre having a Mahomes/Reid team that is being led by the defense.
