I actually watched all of those old playoff games and Mahomes was freaking slinging back in 2018. |
He’s been a shell of the player he used to be this season. I thought he was just working his way back from the injury, which was the dreaded nerve injury.
He hasn’t even been a 3 down linebacker lately. Which he wasn’t happy about. I’m guessing that has something to do with this. I kind of figured he’d be released after the season but it’s surprising it happened now. |
He was great. He got hurt. Now he’s washed. Happens all the time in the NFL. He wouldn’t be worth the paper a new contract was printed on. Although Antonio Pearce has been a decent coach so if this is the beginning of the end of the Reid Era, perhaps Leonard is the guy for the job!!

I've had a change of heart. The Chiefs need a brokedick on the roster to win a Super Bowl. Suggs-Clark-Leonard?
|
I went back and rewatched the last 2 colts games focusing specifically on Leonard and the guy was a liability. I didn’t realize just how bad he’s been this season.
He’s a 4 time all pro and he has the heart of a lion but his body is just shot. |

The Colts have $19,970,000 of Dead money added for this season with the Shaquille Leonard release.
