Lol, MVS will make amends just like last year. LMAO

Eh, MVS actually gets open beyond 6 yards downfield so I have to disagree.
We need better from MVS down the stretch, though; there is no doubt about that. |
Neither are getting DUIs or going Stephon Diggs when times are bad. Bonding through better suffering!

Never was crazy about drob but dude did have a specific role. He was actually really good at getting open in scramble drill. Catching the ball, not as much. But he was always open.
Mvs is a very different WR. He’s definitely a clear out option but it’s hard to be valuable when your number gets called a few times a game. I never understood why a clear out option had to be a boom bust guy. Of course a speed options bread and butter will be deep routes, but we can’t find a guy who’s fast and at least remotely effective with short/intermediate stuff too? It’s been pointed out that Andy likes his WRs to wear many hats. In the future we need to have more guys with versatility versus having specialists who do only one thing well (even worse when they don’t do the one thing they were supposed to specialize in). |
All MVS can do is run in a straight line
Apparently he's supposed to be a good blocker too, but I've never noticed it |
That's like saying I get laid more than Clay doesn't mean much

If MVS was a steak he would be a fillet steak. Overpriced and vastly inferior to most other cuts out there.
If Skyy Moore was a steak he would be the tinned variety. You'll leave it on the floor and 1 hour later your dog's dead. |
It’s too bad Moore can’t get open because he can be dangerous with the ball in his hands. Unfortunately I don’t see him getting open often.

Watson does the same thing as MVS but better. At least Moore will occasionally get us the short stuff. MVS doesn't do the short stuff.
|
To be fair, MVS has been throwing some good downfield blocks for the other guys who can catch the ball.

I'll take him over MVS any day. |
{shrug}
The moment Skyy has a game half as good as MVS had in the Bengals game, I'll listen. And MVS at least does the little shit (he's always getting dap from teammates and coaches for running hard/good pick routes and/or strong blocking downfield) consistently whereas Moore seems lost in space on half his snaps. I think Moore has a higher ceiling and greater upside, but the snaps where he appears to have never played football before are a real issue. |
Everyone forgets the playoff game vs the Bengals- MVS put the receivers on his back that game which is large in part why we got to the Superbowl. At least MVS has those spectacular moments/game where he's been a large contributor.
Skyy Moore has never done shit. |
