It was ethanol with seafoam in it. It has been a while since I ran it-even though I just put enough in to get it started. Non oxy is a pain to find.

Had the carb replaced at least 7 years ago. It was plugged

That's ethanol. Quit using that shit in it

You’re better off asking people on Reddit. Members here are not mature enough.

Hey I gave a real answer before my bullshit answer.

The future son in law is coming today, he may want to tackle it too.

Probably a gummed up or wore out float. Working on small engines blows.

I try if I can to buy Honda motors. Honda, seafoam, and synthetic oil has treated me well.

Hey! It's all ball bearings nowadays. Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State.

son in law looked at it, said their was a little gunk and the seals were dry. Needle and seat cleaned with a small brush. Float ok. Everything else looked ok.

We are going to start it tomorrow.

Hope it runs fine tomorrow. But are you sure it's leaking from the carb? If you are using corn fuel its tough on rubber lines. It hardens them over time and the fuel line clamps cant squeeze them tight. If it leaks at the carb on a gravity line or at a shutoff it may be starving for fuel. Just a thought and like Bug said don't run your 2 and four stroke air cooled motors with corn fuel it ruins them.

Boise_Chief 12-10-2023 12:37 AM

Absolutely all of our small engines we run noneth

srvy 12-10-2023 01:51 PM

Did you fire it up?
