Naw, man. Just naw.

That's a MASSIVE overpay.

If you figure for him as a DH what 45 million a year. Judge is 40.

Then you got to do the pitching side. **** Jordan Lyles is a 10 to 15 million as a starter. Sonny Gray is a 25 million per year guy.

This is after his 2nd Tommy John surgery. His pitching days are much closer to the end than the beginning.

Billy, this is Shohei Ohtani. With his combination of pitching and hitting acumen, he is the most unique player in a century of baseball. By all metrics, he should be getting $45 million per year. We can get him for $70,000,000

You'd know better than I would. I honestly didn't know about his injury history outside of this most recent one

Ohtani about to be ruined when Weimar-style hyperinflation forces him to load his entire contract in a wheelbarrow to get a loaf of bread.

ThyKingdomCome15 12-09-2023 02:40 PM

Baseball is trash.

FloridaMan88 12-09-2023 02:41 PM

The Dodgers will win a million regular season games only to choke in the playoffs.

Eleazar 12-09-2023 02:42 PM

There's never been a player like him, so this one I kind of understand.

'Hamas' Jenkins 12-09-2023 02:46 PM

I bet Mozeliak offered him 5/$125

jerryaldini 12-09-2023 02:47 PM

Soto to the Yankees, Ohtani to the Dodgers, but it's ok because, you know, the Rays made the playoffs, so what are you small markets complaining about?
