That purple titty came to mind right as I was scrolling down to see exactly that.

Charles said he's playing, but hopefully that wasn't just the adrenaline talking.

Edit: I found it:

Luckily, for us, SF's pass rush is not nearly as lethal as Baltimore's. They have Bosa and that's pretty much it. If we handle him, Mahomes will have all the time in the world to throw.

Meltzer will be giving the Super Bowl 5 stars after a heroic performance from Thuney

Oh, and there's this

If he plays he will have achieved big dick levels in the realm of Aleksandr Karelin...

I said it in the 49ers thread, I believe, but those rumors were starting to trickle out yesterday morning. A 2nd opinion found more tearing and that's why he was ruled out on Saturday (as opposed to Gay, who they let try it out on Sunday).

Prince Tega Wanogho could make a return. Haven't heard much on him, but we will be down an offensive linemen, so it could make sense.

BWillie 01-29-2024 12:21 PM

League circles agree that Skyy Moore and Kadarius Toney will still be hurt and limited in two weeks. These two players are so important to the Chiefs they dont want to risk further reinjury and sabotage their careers.

Mecca 01-29-2024 12:22 PM

The 49ers D is not the Ravens, Allegretti can handle them, Bosa is a top level player.

Armstead has declined, Hargrave is a bit of a one trick pony.

Sad but true.

We may be able to flip Skyy for a 7th to some team that believes they can coach him up, but he’s just not very good. Toney seems like a head case that Andy and Co have lost all patience with so yeah, he’s probably played his last snap in the NFL.

TLO 01-29-2024 01:20 PM

If Skyy and Toney are healthy, you can probably draw up a play for each. They both had TD's in the Super Bowl last year.

Just don't rely on them as consistent targets (duh)

Luckily we are in a pretty good cap situation. Our cap situation compared to other top teams...man we are ready to fly as long as we don't do any stupid contracts.

I'm fairly certain we have a waterboy we can call up from the practice squad. We have all the depth at hydration engineer we need.
