Because I gotta figure FAU is going to be active (Thompson's too light for the 49ers run game to even be a rotational asset).

But then again, FAU is going to have to figure out how to make his way past Malik Herring on the depth chart so I guess we'll see...

Oh man, this blows. Thought that’s what it was when he went down without contact, but when I saw him say “do I look like a guy who’s not playing in the Super Bowl” in that postgame interview I got my hopes up. Must’ve been a surprise to him too.
