Luck is more important for the Chiefs than anyone else because of how good they are. As another poster essentially said, if you suck and are lucky you still lose so it doesn't even matter. We've been lucky and good. If we were unlucky we are 7-2 instead of 9-0 no real difference in how we would feel about this team. |

Luck would be the 1995 Chiefs.

This is SUPPOSED to be a Patriots thread. LMAO |
Lucky, all day everyday.
Until your luck runs out. Then you better be good. |

Be good.
BTW I wish for Pat to someday have that much time and space to complete a pass. |
It was fine when NE won with all 3 phases. They were just “built different” “champions” “gritty winners.” But when KC wins with defense and STs, they’re “lucky” “frauds” “refs.” Pat has to throw for 400 yds and win 42-38 or else it isn’t good enough anymore.

This thread is a ****ing disaster. I've provided multiple clips of the Patriots doing the exact things our team is endlessly criticized for in the current season and instead of pointing and laughing and hopefully triggering Amnorix as he lurks we're ****ing debating the merits of luck vs being good.
CHIEFSPLANET DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE ASSIGNMENT https://y.yarn.co/45a749c8-108b-4f73...577a3_text.gif |

Your thread is a failure. |

Is it better to be lucky, or good?
That's a classic debate! Both "luck" and "skill" have their roles, but the balance between them really depends on the situation.
Being good: Skill, experience, and preparation give you control over your outcomes. When you're good at something, you're more likely to succeed because you understand the nuances and can anticipate challenges. Good preparation helps you take advantage of opportunities when they arise. Being lucky: Luck is unpredictable, but it can play a major role in certain situations. Sometimes, the right circumstances line up unexpectedly, and those moments can change everything. However, luck can be fleeting and out of your control, so relying solely on it isn't a stable strategy. In most cases, being good gives you a solid foundation, and luck can amplify your success when it strikes. Many would argue that luck favors the prepared—meaning that your chances improve when you put in the work, because you're ready when the right moment comes. Ultimately, the best scenario is a mix of both. You can’t control luck, but you can increase your chances of good fortune by honing your skills and being in the right place at the right time. |
