Future retired HOFers are Pujols and Cabrera. But after that, it’s slim pickings for awhile

Mark McGwire Barry Bonds and Pete Rose.

Howa bout Sammy Sosa ?

Carlos Beltran is one of the most underrated players of the era.

He's maybe a little fringy as a HoFer but he'd be far from the worst guy there. Pretty close to an 'average' CFer with some pretty impressive and uncommon power/speed traits to boot.

Bottom line is that if Andre Dawson is in the Hall, Beltran easily should be.

I would’ve leaned toward a Sosa induction but when he got busted for using a corked bat in a ballgame, that was the nail in the coffin.

Beltran might already be in if it wasn't for the Astros cheating scandal.

He had 57.1% in year two with eight tries left. I think he'll get to 75% by year 10.

There’s no way Sosa should get in if guys like bonds, McGwire and Clemens are blackballed
