Met CarrotTop in Luxor Las Vegas elevator. Nice guy. Gracious.

Will Wheaton was an absolute ass when I met him at a con in the late 90s. I think he's chilled out since then and accepted that he'll always have peaked with Wesley Crusher.

Met Alexandra Tydings (Aphrodite in the 99s Hercules show) at a con in 99. She was very cool, and even more attractive in person. Talked to me for about 30 minutes. For whatever reason, the other nerds at the con didn't seem that interested in talking with her. Very down to earth and interesting.

I met Marcus Allen when the Super Bowl was in Indy...he had noticed me in my Chiefs gear and shook my hand and chatted for a few minutes before being whisked away by the people he was with.

Seemed like a nice guy to me.

Met Bill Clinton one time after he was president and shook his hand. Then I remembered that you can never be sure where that hand has been.

Had a long interaction with Nick Lowery at an airport 25 years ago and that guy was the coolest. He helped me get on a different flight when ours was cancelled.

Took a picture with Bryce Harper at the DC fan fest and he addressed me as “sir”. Very professional.

Bumped into Jim Ryun a few times, he wasn’t friendly at all and I know his family.

Met your KS representative Sharice at an event and talked with her. I don’t share most of her politics but she was very nice.

I’ve heard the same about Gonzalez. I used to work downtown and a bunch of people who met him said the same.

Justin Houston came into my old job once and was a complete dick.

Eric Berry and Dexter McCluster were super nice guys though.

Tony G. Colossal DBAG

Joe Satriani. Met him at a small guitar shop in Lenexa KS where he was promoting his new signature amp line. I think the store had like maybe 75-100 tickets you could buy for like $20 and proceeds donated to local music charities . The scope closed its doors to only ticket holders for a few hours. He played right there in front of us for probably a hour which was awesome. Answered questions about the amps demonstrated techniques etc etc. then had a table set up and people could get autograph. my wife got our ticket stubs from the G3 concert at the Uptown signed. I brought my Ibanez electric and had it in the trunk of my car, and when I got to him in the line I asked If he signed guitars, to which he said of course. He signed the guitar and it’s been in a Gig bag unplayed ever since lol he was super nice. Mingled with people etc.

George Brett … fell from the same dick tree as Tony.

I've met Clay a few times. Contrary to popular opinion, he's a pretty nice guy.

Once took a piss next to Jerry Tarkanian in The KC Municipal Auditorium during a BB tourney. Normal guy.

Shocked at the Tony Gonzales commentary. I've seen him twice and has no issues.

First time was at a celebrity bowling event here in Vegas. He was pleasant and engaging.

Second time was more of an experience rather than a "meet him" was in Ensenada Mexico... Had just gotten off a cruise ship and was walking around. We walked by this cantina and there was a table with football players drinking. Tony G was leaning back in a chair and went to far and fell over on his back, hysterically laughing. Was pretty damned funny.

Through a bunch of circumstances (family, work, life) I’ve meet a large amount of famous people. They’ve all been cool. But I’ve never acted anything other than normal/kind/cordial to them. When you act that way towards people, regardless of who they are, they tend to act that way back.

Bo Jackson was a complete dick to my best friend as a kid when they were filming a Cheerios commercial in my neighborhood in Lawrence back in the 80's. Essentially, he looked at him and said "I already signed something for you" even though he hadn't. I mean we were like 9 years old and he was standing in my front yard - sign the ****ing card. Bo was his favorite player right up until that moment. After, he traded away all his Bo baseball cards because of the interaction. Thinking I may still have a few of them in the attic (of course I capitalized, who wouldn't? it's freaking Bo Jackson).
