It wouldn't surprise me to learn he could be brutal behind the scenes sometimes, you can probably say that about every president ever

But I'll just never believe he was ****ing up on purpose, and thats good enough to earn him some grace... Jimmy meant well

Jimmy's wife was objectively the most beautiful first lady of them all.

Trivia: There were only two Presidents in US history who didn't have a mistress on the side, Jimmy Carter and Harry Truman.

Carter is the only president I've ever seen in person. Saw him getting out of a limo and walk into the building I worked at while I was out having a smoke. I waived at him and he waived back.

I was not fond of his presidency, but he was a good man. RIP

RIP to a God fearing man and humanitarian. I saw him in passing as well. I waved at him. He was nice enough to wave back. I was also in the same place, at the same time, as Nixon and Truman. Nixon couldn't see me so I didn't wave at him. Truman was unable to see me or wave at me as he was in a casket.

Damn so he took office before the earth existed???

My dad still has a six-pack of Billy beer. He tried to sell it on the internet once and only had one response. It was someone wanting to sell him their sixer.

RIP President Carter.

RIP President Carter.

I just checked with a friend of my who is a beer snob and belongs to several beer snob clubs. Because it was mass produced, he tells me that an unopened can of Billy Beer ranges from $10 to $50.

A rare politician who cared more about people than power and wealth. And actually believed truth telling mattered. RIP.

RIP Pres. Carter.

Met him on a couple of occasions at the Carter Center. He was down to earth, earnest, and seemed to be a genuinely nice man.
